The Who's John Entwistle The Rock CD Cover Original Art and Private Pressing CD (1986). Who bassist John Entwistle's sixth solo album was originally issued as a numbered edition on his own private label, Whistle Rhymes. Included with this lot are four preliminary sketches of the collimated ruins and Greek statue bust as seen on the CD's stark black and white cover. The sketches are in black marker on tracing paper, ranging in size from 12" x 17" up to 16.5" x 16.5", and are all in Excellent condition, save for a few minor corner folds. A copy of the original edition CD, numbered 4075, is included; the jewel case has a broken tab, but the CD plays perfectly. Five photocopied note pages, some with added color, are also included.
