Johnnie Taylor 1976 Billboard Award. A 6" diameter marble base with a 5" tall number "1" in a clear acrylic. The engraved plate reads: "#1 Soul Single/ of 1976/ 'Disco Lady'/ Johnnie Taylor/ Columbia". This legendary song spent four weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart and six weeks on the R&B chart. It was the first single to be certified Platinum by the RIAA and the first Number One with the word "Disco" in the title. The "#1" has come unglued- an easy repair. Excellent otherwise.
