A Lana Turner Group of Signed Documents, 1940s. Four total including: 1) a four page typed contract, dated "18 day of March 1940," between Turner, her mother, and Loew's Incorporated outlining the star's employment obligations, signed in black fountain pen ink on the last page "Julia Jean Turner" [her birth name]; 2) a one page typed note on Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer letterhead, dated "December 23, 1940," outlining a bonus the star received, signed in black fountain pen ink on the left side "Julia Jean Turner;" 3) a three page typed contract, dated "September 16, 1943," outlining the star's agreement to be on "Radio Reader's Digest" program, signed in black fountain pen ink on the left side "Lana Turner;" and 4) a one page typed document, dated "16th day of January 1946," outlining an agreement the star had with her mother concerning real estate, signed in blue fountain pen ink on the right side "Julia Jean Turner Crane PKA Lana Turner."
