Elvis Presley TLC Gold Necklace. It was given to one of Elvis' special fans in 1973, who along with three girlfriends attended numerous concerts from 1957 until 1977. One of the friends was Arlene Cogan, and her story is told in her book Elvis This One's For You (Castle Books, 1985), wherein on page 266 she relates when she and her friends each received a cherished necklace. It comes with an official TLC box that our consignor purchased directly from Mike McGregor, who resided at Graceland for many years handling the King's horses, making saddles, concert belts and buckles, leather suits, and holsters. Also included here is a handwritten note from Heide Heise, the fan who originally was given the necklace; a copy of Elvis This One's For You inscribed to our consignor, who is also noted in the author's Acknowledgements; a postcard from Castle Books and the cancelled check our consignor had sent to the publisher for a copy of the book; and a note from Mike McGregor with the cancelled check in payment for the TLC box, which is missing a fastener, but is otherwise in Fine condition. It's a superb collection, anchored by the special TLC necklace.
