Description
A Marlon Brando Overcoat Related to "Last Tango in Paris," Circa 1972. Made of tan-colored ribbed wool, single-breasted, two frontal welt pockets, four button front closure, attached half-belt on back, designer label reads "Pierre Cardin / Paris," further embroidery reading "Pierre Cardin" appears on inside breast pocket. Three tan overcoats were chosen for Brando to wear as the disturbed "Paul" in the 1972 United Artists cult film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, one of which was this one. A different (though similar) coat was ultimately decided on which Brando wears throughout the movie, but he liked this Pierre Cardin one so kept it and wore it in his personal life.
Included with a "Letter of Authenticity" signed by Alice Marchak, Marlon Brando's longtime personal assistant.
