Description

Two Costume Pieces from "Hatari." Paramount, 1962. The first a tan corduroy jacket, collarless with a v-neck, three front pockets with elaborate detailing, three button front closure; the second a beige cotton vest, two front flap pockets and epaulets; no labels in either one; both worn as Wayne portrayed "Sean Mercer" in the film. (Please note both pieces are heavily worn and both appear to have been altered for a later use.) Interestingly, Wayne wears an almost identical jacket in "Hellfighters."
