The Beatles Live Concert in Hamburg Original Ticket Stub Plus Bravo-Beatles-Blitztournee Tour Program (Germany,1966). In the summer of 1966, the Beatles embarked on a three-city tour of (West) Germany, dubbed "Bravo-Beatles-Blitztournee (Lightning Tour)." A whirlwind tour lasting three days, the jaunt through Germany consisted of two performances each in Munich, Essen, and Hamburg - There were 5600 fans at this Hamburg show (a sell-out), the final on this leg of the tour before heading to Japan. 1) Here is a ticket stub measuring approx: 4" by 5". In overall Very Good condition with bending, staining, some tearing and wear; 2) Bravo-Beatles Blitztournee. Here is the official program from that tour, featuring black and white photos of the opening acts - Cliff Bennett & the Rebel Rousers, the Rattles, and Peter & Gordon - leading to a larger spread of the Beatles, ending in a fantastic fold-out poster of the Fab Four in action on stage. Program measures 8.5" x 11". In overall Very Good Plus condition with some wear, bending and scuffing.

It's been said: "No Hamburg, No Beatles." This was a full circle end of an era performance. Hamburg in the early days was pivotal in molding the boys into what they became, the Beatles.

While in Hamburg, John visited Astrid Kirchherr who gave him some letters Stuart Sutcliffe had written just before his death. Astrid and Bert Kaempfert were among their many friends visiting backstage. This was the Beatles' first appearance in Hamburg since 1963, and their last. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
