Blue Öyster Cult 1989 Atlanta, GA Concert Poster. A vivid blue and silver window card for an appearance by the great Blue Öyster Cult at Center Stage on May 2, 1989. As evidenced by the wardrobe choices by the five members, the proggy hard rockers were having to compete with popular hard rock on the charts (often called hair metal) to be relevant. The band was on tour behind their 1988 release, Imaginos, which happened to take many years to complete due to various factors. Its main single was a new version of their classic, "Astronomy."
