Description

Peter, Paul & Mary 1967 Norfolk, VA Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising folk-music superstars Peter Yarrow, Paul Stookey and Mary Travers performing at the Norfolk Municipal Auditorium on Saturday evening, March 18, 1967. This poster was created from a very popular "tour blank" that the folk trio used throughout the 1960's and even a little into the early 1970's.

Measures 13 ¼" x 21 ¾" and grades to Very Good Minus condition. Has major 4 ¼" diagonal creasing in the upper left corner, coming just before the "P" starts. Then there's some more light creasing that does go through the "P." General surface scuffing, blemishing and corner bumping throughout (notice the color chipping right off the left musician's nose). Verso has tape lifting in all four corners from when it was posted. From the Jim Cook Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
