Description

Elvis Presley - Karate Gi/Uniform (ca.1970s). Elvis started taking taekwondo lessons when he served in the Army in Germany. He stayed with the martial arts for most of his life. Here we have a seldom seen Karate Gi/Uniform custom made for Elvis. It includes the traditional jacket and drawstring pants. Jacket is red trimmed with an identifying patch "Presley" and includes patches on the left arm as well as right breast. Kenpo patch on the left breast. White drawstring pants with colorful frog closures at calf, white, red and black. Accompanied by two pictures. Note: Elvis wearing the Gi or one similar to it. The top is similar, however with different patches. The pants have the same flourish on the legs. Overall general wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
