Terrifier 2 (Cineverse, 2022), David Howard Thornton "Art the Clown" Screen Worn Facial Prosthetic. Original facial prosthetic from the gore-centric sequel Terrifier 2 as worn by Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton), constructed of foam latex with blood gel staining and expertly painted white with black accents on the mouth and eyes. Also includes a plastic bag with blood gel stains, retaining original maker's label handwritten "Allie / Kill / 3 of 3" in black marker. Measures 10" x 9.5" x 1". Terrifier 2 doubles down on the brutality of its predecessor, almost tripling the death count at the hands of the supernatural and sadistic clown. Allie's death scene is intentionally excessive, maiming with scissors and a scalpel, a left arm being ripped off, and bleach and salt poured into the wounds, a kill so violent that it won a Fangoria Chainsaw award for "Best Kill" in 2023. Exhibits production wear and handling, with small hairs stuck to blood gel, shattering and desiccation to latex, and intentional production distress involving blood and dirt staining, with overall condition emphasizing its use. Provenance: LOA signed by Producer Phil Falcone attesting that item presented here is a "screen used mask used in the death scene of Allie". Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
