Blade (New Line, 1998), Storyboard Art and Digital Renderings by Jason Brubaker. Collection of (130+) storyboard artworks by Jason Brubaker for the 1998 adaptation of the Marvel superhero including approx. (30) original sketches on tracing paper accomplished with black and blue ink and graphite detailing various creature designs, building mockups, and action sequences, and approx. (100+) additional digital renderings in black-and-white, gray, and color for an array of scenes showing how Brubaker's art from the tracing paper sketches was applied to various sequences, presumably assembled for presentation purposes in advance of production. Also included is (1) flash drive containing digital art. Blade starred Wesley Snipes in the titular role and became a cult classic following its commercially successful release. Items range in size from 7.5" x 11" to 8.5 x 13.75". Flash drive measures 2.25" x .75" x .05". Items exhibit mild signs of handling wear and age, including bumped corners and edgewear, overall well maintained. From the artist's personal collection. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
