Radioland Murders (Universal, 1994), Production Archive and Scripts. Original archive from the production of the George Lucas-produced comedy Radioland Murders, consisting of handwritten and typed cast and crew lists, music research, fact sheets, correspondence with George Lucas and Steve Martin, and (1) 10" x 8" production still of Roos and Lucas on set. Accompanying the lot are (3) scripts in different stages of production, including (1) 146-page (as paginated) undated draft bradded and titled on the spine with blue marker, (1) 115-page (as paginated) draft bradded and dated January 1st, 1979, with original title on silver cover and labels reading "Fred Roos" on the top right and "RM 1 (TF)" on the spine, retaining original handwritten notes by Roos on last page, and (1) 113-page (as paginated) revised second draft, bradded and dated July 24th, 1993, with the Lucasfilm logo on the center of white studio wrap. Lucas initially planned to direct the movie using his crew from American Graffiti (Universal, 1973), but the success of the Star Wars franchise took him in a different direction and he continued to work on this project as an Executive Producer alongside Roos. Items exhibiting production age and wear, with edge creases and corner bumps to script and production documents, and slight tears and oxidation to some production documents.
