Star Trek: The Original Series (Paramount, 1966-1969), Matt Jefferies Pair of Original Concept Sketches from Episode "The Apple". Vintage original pair of concept sketches accomplished in black felt-tip by Matt Jefferies on 11" x 8.5" grid paper for Season 3, Episode 5, "The Apple", including (1) sheet of detailed sketches for the self-aware computer known as Vaal and (1) sheet showing cross-section sketches for the hut used by the Vaalian Akuta (Keith Andes) as his shelter on the strange planet visited in this early Season 2 episode. Both sketches contain the episode's title alongside production code "038" and are signed by the artist as well. With numerical notations "13" and "14" on the verso respectively. Exhibits mild signs of handling and wear. Accompanied by a 3.5" x 3.5" color polaroid showing Vaal as seen in the episode. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
