Ginger Rogers special award to commemorate the 50-year anniversary of her "Best Actress" Academy Award. (1991) Original special "Oscar" trophy given to Ginger Rogers in recognition of the 50-year period from the time she was awarded her first Oscar for "Best Actress" in 1941 for her role as "Kitty" in Kitty Foyle. Consisting of a gold-plated cast metal male figure holding a wreath and standing atop a black painted tiered wooden base. The printed plaque on the front of the base reads, "Golden Anniversary Oscar Presentation, Ginger Rogers, 1941-1991, Springfellow's - Beverly Hills". The trophy measures 12 x 6 in. and remains in fine condition.
