Joe Louis vintage boxer doll. (ca. 1950) Joe Louis vintage 18 in. doll. Constructed of molded hard rubber head with leather boxing gloves, cloth body and black boxing trunks. He is marked on the neck, "co. J. V. Z. Co." His cloth leg needs partial reattaching. An extremely rare African American celebrity doll and great depiction of the 1927-1949 heavyweight champ. Overall, in vintage very good condition.
