Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Johnny Thunders "Anarchy in the UK" Tour Poster (1976). A spectacular hot-pink concert poster made for a seminal 19-date British tour in December 1976, at the dawning of the punk era. At the time, the Sex Pistols were the most controversial band in England, given their name, their performances and their use of vulgarity on Bill Grundy's Today TV show in Britain.

With rising stars the Damned, Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers ("from the New York Dolls") and special guests The Clash months before their first album was released, this tour was a punk fan's dream come true. Almost everything that happened on this tour was a first.

These colors really pop! An original concert poster that was used to promote the cancelled Sex Pistols And Clash performance that was due to take place at the Charlton Theatre, Preston on 10th December 1976. The poster measures approx: 51cm x 76cm (19 3/4" x 29"). In overall Very Good condition with lots of creases, rips, and tears throughout. Will frame up nicely for display.
