The Beatles Group of (5) Artist Proof Prints Numbered and Signed By Photographer Terence Spencer. Terence Spencer was born in 1918. He was a pilot during World War Two , a prisoner of war, and when the war was over flew a single engine plane 8000 miles to South Africa. He ran a successful aerial photographic business outside of Johannesburg with his actress wife, Lesley Brook. He shot for Life magazine and covered stories all over the world.

In 1963 he returned to England to photograph the new swinging London craze. His 13-year-old daughter Cara asked him to photograph a new group called the Beatles. As they say, the rest is history. He went on to shoot celebrity stories for People magazine as well as politicians. He died on February 8th 2009.

Offered here are five wonderful artist proof prints numbered and hand signed by Terence Spencer. Measuring approx: 20" by 20". Overall in Very Fine condition with some bending, creasing and minor wear.

These five prints are all number 1 of only 10 produced.

Mr. Spencer captured several key moments in the Beatles phenomenon. These will mat and frame up well.
