Grateful Dead 1967 Santa Clara, CA Continental Club Concert Poster. An original first-printing paper concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing in the Bay Area suburb of Santa Clara, CA on Saturday night, October 14, 1967. Features fun, creative and imaginative red, white & blue artwork by the poster artist, who identifies himself as "Cannon 67" with a tiny cannon as part of his credit.

This was an infamous month for the Dead, as they were busted for drugs in their home at 710 Ashbury Street two weeks before this show, and the indictments came down (Bob Weir & Pigpen) on the Monday after this weekend.

This poster has not been graded and slabbed by CGC because it's not pictured in the Art of Rock book or Eric King guide, so it's not part of a series they currently certify. Measures 10 7/8" x 14 3/4" and grades to Mint condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
