Donovan 1968 Portland, OR Psychedelic Concert Poster by John Moehring. An original colorful, psychedelic paper concert poster for Donovan appearing at the Coliseum in Portland, Oregon on Thursday night, October 3, 1968. Well-loved poster artist John Moehring created the compelling art for this.

Donovan was a veritable hit-making machine from 1965 to 1969, and '68 was no exception. He started off in the spring with "Jennifer Juniper," had a Top 5 hit in the summer with "Hurdy Gurdy Man," and had a new single out at the time of this show, "Lalena." Donovan had also just released a new LP the month before, Hurdy Gurdy Man, purportedly featuring the future members of Led Zeppelin as back-up musicians (minus Robert Plant).
