Janis Joplin w/Big Brother, CTA 1968 Seattle, WA Concert Poster by John Moehring. An original black & silver concert poster, printed on cardstock, for Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company, plus the huge bonus of the Chicago Transit Authority, performing at the Seattle Center Arena in Seattle, Washington on Friday evening, November 29, 1968. Features spellbinding artwork provided by Seattle's favorite son, John Moehring. This was no less than Janis & Big Brother's penultimate show together, ever. One more concert in S.F. on Sunday, and they were done. This first-ever Heritage offering measures 17" x 23 1/4" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: At the top center, poster has a 2" long curving crease which passes through the "S" in "Present" and "L" in "Last," and breaks color. The upper left corner has a 2 ½" diagonal crease which also breaks the black color. The poster's right edge has a ½" tear about halfway down, which breaks color and shows white. And on the bottom center edge, there's a 1/8" tear that intersects the "D" in "Seidemann."
