Prince 1999 RIAA Platinum Sales Award. A matted platinum sales award for Prince's 1982 release, best known for its title cut and "Little Red Corvette." Presented to a Warner Bros. executive. According to the plaque in the bottom right corner, "Presented To Chris Crist / To Commemorate the Sale of More Than / 1,000,000 Copies of the /Warner Bros. Records Long-Playing Record Album / '1999'." Comes with a Warner Bros. business card of Crist's as well as writing on the verso of his name. Measures to an overall 17 ¼" x 21 ¼". In Very Good Plus condition with numerous scratches on the frame as well as some fading on the mini album cover. COA from Heritage Auctions.
