John Malkovich "Athos" costume with brown frock coat from The Man in the Iron Mask. (MGM, 1998) This is an elaborate ensemble costume worn by John Malkchovich as "Athos" of the famed "Three Musketeers" in this retelling of the classic tale The Man in the Iron Mask. Beautiful hand-tooled heavy suede/leather traveling long frock coat, elaborate gold applique throughout with gold-tone buttons on front, back and sleeves, three wood buttons at collar, item marked "John Malkovich", accompanying leather sleeveless long under coat, dulled gold-tone applique edging with silver-tone buttons, item marked "John Malkovic", (sic), heavy brown ribbed corduroy like material breeches with front tie string and gold-tone buttons affixed, item marked "John Malkovich". The entire costume is studio distressed. In production used, very good condition.
