Gérard Depardieu "Porthos" leather jerkin costume from The Man in the Iron Mask. (MGM, 1998) This is an elaborate costume worn by Gérard Depardieu as "Porthos" of the famed "Three Musketeers" in this retelling of the classic tale The Man in the Iron Mask. Consisting of (1) red textured wool traveling long frock coat with gold and maroon embroidered appliques, gold buttons with leather stitched trim, (1) heavy brown suede and leather jerkin, elaborately designed with open air sleeve openings, gold buttons with gold applique edging, (1) pair of brown wool breeches with gold bullion applique edging and buttons, (1) pair of black suspenders, both items marked "Gerard Depardieu", (1) brown suede leather baldric with gold stripe applique and multiple buckles, entire costume studio distressed. In production used, very good condition.
