23rd Century Starfleet Communicator from Star Trek DS9 1489. 23rd Century hero illuminating Starfleet Communicator from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) This hero illuminating TOS version Starfleet Communicator. Only three were made for the episode and it is constructed from vaccum-formed ABS plastic shells with hinged brass antenna flip lid, aluminum mid plate, Morié disc and control plate. Raising the lid illuminates yellow, red and green LED lights. Seen in the season five Deep Space Nine episode, "Trials and Tribble-ations" when the crew of DS9 travel into their past and encounter the events of TOS episode, "The Trouble with Tribbles". Measures 2 ½ in. x 4 ½ in. Made by HMS Creative.
