Masters of the Universe Castle Grayskull CAS 75+ 12-Back (Mattel, 1982). Masters of the Universe (Motu) was Mattel's first big dive into the action figure market of the 80's. In a competitive market space, Mattel saw huge success with their bulky, and muscular figures that towered over figures in other franchises like G.I. Joe and Star Wars. They also debuted a TV show which introduced kids to the Mighty He-Man in a science fiction/fantasy epic where he defended Castle Grayskull from the forces of evil. Featured here is a sealed 12-Back release of Castle Grayskull. This is one of the most iconic pieces from the MOTU line. The cover of the box alone leaves a memorable impression that the original creators wanted for those that walked across toy isles back in the early 80's.
