Description

Original Ewok Mask (Light Fur) from Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (TCF, 1983). Vintage original Ewok mask designed by makeup artist Stuart Freeborn constructed of beige color faux fur with built in foam latex facial elements including lips, nose and inner ears, yellow convex plastic eye lenses and yellowed urethane teeth appliance bearing six teeth. Mask interior is lined with foam latex on the sides and back marked twice "Linda Bowley" (credited as an Ewok) and "34" with cotton tie closure in back. Exhibits production wear and age including deteriorating latex on interior and hardened latex outer facial elements with some cracking. Accompanied by four call sheets from the film, including two shot at Ewok Village. Comes with a signed LOA by Stuart Freeborn stating "I can confirm that this is an original production used Ewok Head. I created this head for the Return of the Jedi film..." Also accompanied by a Prop Store COA. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
