Description
Marilyn Monroe black silk cocktail dress with oversize bow. (ca. 1952) Vintage original black silk knee-length cocktail dress with ivory organza bodice, braided ribbon straps, and left side zipper closure. Ornamented with a monumental decorative ivory organza bow at the front bodice and with a coin-weighted hem. Retaining the internal, "Talmack, John Moore, New York" bias label. Exhibiting some age and discoloring to the ivory organza and minor wear. In very good condition.
