Star Wars R2-D2 Greeting/Trading Card "If Droids Could Frolic" Original Art by Alice Carter (Drawing Board Greeting Cards, 1984/Topps, 1993). R2-D2 frolics with small rabbit-like creatures resembling Hoojibs from the Star Wars comic series in this charming painting originally created for a greeting card. The artwork was later repurposed as Card #61 "If Droids Could Frolic" in the 1993 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Series 1 trading card set. Rendered in mixed media on Bristol board, the piece features an image area of 9.25 inches by 12.75 inches, matted to 12.25 inches by 16 inches. The artwork exhibits slight toning, tape and adhesive staining in the margins, notes in the bottom margin, and abrasion and adhesive staining on the back from a previous mounting, along with light handling wear. It is signed by Alice "Bunny" Carter in the right side of the image area. Despite minor imperfections, the artwork remains in very good condition and includes a copy of the printed trading card.
