Description

Batman and Robin Pocket Heroes and Batcave Lot (Mego, 1979-80). This lot contains carded versions of Batman and Robin from 1979 as well as two Batcaves from 1980, all produced by Mego for the Pocket Heroes line. The red carded Pocket Heroes were the first release and later came on different cards. The Robin is more difficult to find than most of the other figures. The Batcaves are both complete in the original boxes and one is completely unused with bagged parts and unused stickers. The second Batcave is used but complete with 1 crack in the vacuform cave. The carded figures are new on the card and the bubbles are securely attached and uncracked. The Batman card is very clean with a small mark at the top left and minimal shelf wear. The Robin figure is on an unpunched card with a crease at the top of the hanger. It has some surface scuffs and some wear at the edges, primarily the top left corner. The used Batcave box is solid with some surface wear. The box back is faded and has some soiling. The unused Batcave box has less wear and a very clean front, however, one end flap is very dry and fragile with separating cardboard. Aside from the flap, the box displays beautifully.
