Star Wars - The White Witch: A Droid Adventure Page 11 and 12 Book Illustration by Alice Carter (Lucasfilm/Random House, 1986). Created for a children's book adaptation of the Star Wars: Droids episode "The White Witch," this is a stellar original illustration by the hand of illustrator Alice "Bunny" Carter. A great shot of Thall Joben, Kea Moll, C-3PO, and R2-D2, all aboard the eponymous speeder "White Witch." This impressive illustration is rendered expertly in gouache on 20" x 15" board with a linework acetate overlay. The piece was created for pages 11 and 12 of the published book The White Witch: A Droid Adventure (the illustration bears the numbers 14 and 15). Overall minor handling and edge wear with some taping, toning, and foxing on edges. The condition is Very Good.

More Information: Alice A. (Bunny) Carter is an award-winning artist, author and academic. Her illustration clients have included Lucasfilm Ltd., Rolling Stone magazine, The New York Times, and ABC Television. Her work has been exhibited nationally at galleries and museums such as the New York Society of Illustrators Museum of American Illustration, The Norman Rockwell Museum, the Art Institute of Houston, the Delaware Museum of Art, and the New Britain Museum.
