Star Wars ESB 6 Action Figure Display Stand with Original Box *Figures Not Included* (Kenner, 1980). The Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back 6-Action Figure Display Stand, released by Kenner in 1980, is a scarce promotional piece that was part of Kenner's Special Offer program. Unlike the widely available Star Wars version from 1978-1979, this edition was specifically printed for The Empire Strikes Back and featured a unique sticker listing six ESB characters: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, Bossk, Stormtrooper, and FX-7. While the original figures are not included in this lot, the sticker nameplate remains firmly attached, maintaining the display's distinctiveness. The cardboard backdrop is in excellent condition, with minimal scuffing and corner wear, preserving the visual appeal of the stand.

The original box exhibits handling wear along the edges and corners, with whitened corners, surface wear along the edges, creasing in each corner, corner bends, scratches, and scuffing throughout. Noticeable tears are present in the front upper corners, and along the back left edge. The base shows minor scuffing and signs of yellowing, consistent with age. This particular Special Offer version remains one of the rarest production pieces, with uncertainty surrounding its official retail release. Featured in Kenner's 1980 Department Store Program, it was part of a marketing strategy that bundled existing toys with action figures under exclusive packaging. Kenner continued this practice through 1979, 1981, and 1982, but this ESB-labeled stand remains a unique artifact of the era. With only one known example bearing the black sticker, this promotional stand is an exceptional piece of vintage Star Wars memorabilia, offering a glimpse into the evolving marketing strategies of the original Kenner toy line.
