Description

Star Wars Luke Skywalker Version 2 Lightsaber Replica Signature Edition (Master Replicas, 2007). The Star Wars Luke Skywalker Version 2 Return of the Jedi Lightsaber (SW-156) Signature Edition by Master Replicas, released in 2007, is a highly detailed, screen-accurate prop replica, meticulously crafted to replicate the battle-worn lightsaber wielded by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. This limited-edition collectible features a signature plaque autographed by Mark Hamill, adding a rare and authentic touch to its exclusivity. Developed using original Lucasfilm archival materials, the saber maintains film-accurate proportions, measuring approximately 11.25 inches in length and 1.5 inches in diameter. Its precision-machined aluminum hilt showcases weathered black T-track grips, a control box with a circuit board plate, and intentional battle-worn distressing, replicating the stunt prop used during filming. Unlike the cleaner "Hero" version, the Version 2 lightsaber displays deliberate scuffs, scratches, and weathered metal detailing, reflecting its use in Luke's final confrontation against the Empire.

The saber is elegantly presented in a custom display case, featuring a matte black base, mirrored floor, acrylic supports, and a clear acrylic dust cover for a museum-quality presentation. The black and gray packaging displays handling wear along the edges and corners, with corner creasing, a dent with creasing along the front panel left edge, a dent in the front center panel, scratching and scuffing wear throughout. A numbered metal display plaque bearing Mark Hamill's authentic signature is affixed alongside the saber, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, verifying its limited-edition production. Symbolizing Luke's transformation into a Jedi Knight, this Master Replicas Signature Edition stands as a definitive piece of Star Wars history, celebrating both the craftsmanship of the saga and the legacy of its legendary hero.
