Batman Story Book Annual 1966 Original Page Artwork (Walt Howarth, 1966). This artwork for the Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder 1966 Story Book Annual was drawn by the original artist Walt Howarth and includes 4 of the original pages. This is the actual panel that was returned to him by the publisher which is very rare as this artwork was usually destroyed after printing. Mr. Howarth painted the original cover artwork for many "British Annuals" published throughout the 1960's. He also created covers for many other popular character items including toys, scrapbooks, and puzzles. The artwork is black ink and the heavy cardboard stock is yellowing. There are rust spots where it was once stapled and some wear along the edges and corners. At the top right in pencil is written "Story Book Annual" with a check mark in pen next to it.
