Description

Batman Japanese Gun Fighter Target Game (Tada, 1966). This rare Batman target game was released by Tada for the Japanese market in 1966. It features a black plastic gun with faux wood brown stock and "Gun Fighter" written in gold on the side. There is a cardboard box attached to the backer marked "Bullets" and two corks are attached to the gun with yellow string. It also includes four targets of different villains on red plastic bases. The inner box insert is yellow with orange Batsymbols in different sizes. The cover shows artwork of Batman jumping from the iconic Time Magazine cover. Robin is below him in the left corner and Japanese writing is present across the top and sides. The contents are unused but have some dust from age and the box insert has light spots of aging. The cover has wear and creases at the corners with a small tear at the bottom right. There is some fading and a surface tear at the center bottom side. The cellophane has come loose in spots and is partially attached. There are likely very few boxed examples of this item so an opportunity like this may not present itself again.
