Samson and Delilah (Paramount, 1949), Ken Reid Group of (5) Storyboard Artworks. Vintage group of (5) storyboard artworks by Ken Reid including (3) ink and graphite storyboards on art board measuring from 17.25" x 14.25" to 17.5" to 14.25" and (2) ink and wash storyboards on art board measuring 20" x 15". The (3) ink and graphite storyboards showcase the precise planning of the movement within the frame. Each shot of Samson's fight with the Philistine soldiers is carefully choreographed through the illustrations - which include text underling the action and whether the shot involves the actor (Victor Mature) or the stunt double. The (2) ink and wash storyboards offer a more dynamic rendering of the fight sequence, accompanied with the smaller illustration of the immediate action. All (5) artworks are signed by the artist. Pieces exhibit production wear, toning, staining, and minor edge wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
