Bob Dylan "Tarantula" Lot: 13 Original Books and a Bantam Books Promotional Poster. This large lot consists of 13 books and one poster. The books comprise four official versions of Mr. Dylan's late-60s' book and nine bootleg versions, the latter all homemade to satisfy public demand before the long-delayed book saw official release.
The four official books are:
1971 Macmillan Company U.S. first printing with dust jacket
1971 MacGibbon & Kee U.K. first printing with dust jacket
1971 Macmillan Company Japanese first printing with dust jacket
1972 Bantam U.S. first-printing paperback edition w/faded spine
The bootlegs are all of varying quality and condition.
The poster measures 23 ¾ by 31" and is in Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
