Description

Spider-Man 2 (Sony, 2004), and Spider-Man 3 (Sony, 2007), Group of (4) Daily Bugle Newspaper Covers. Original group of (4) Daily Bugle newspaper covers produced for the second and third Spider-Man films. Headlines from the second film include "Spider-Man No More" (featuring Spidey's abandoned costume) and "'Doc Ock' Still at Large" (with an artist's sketch of Alfred Molina). Covers from the third film read "Spider Ham" and "Spidey's Tribute." As the in-universe paper of record, J. Jonah Jameson's sensational headlines cast Spider-Man as a "menace," while also giving Peter Parker a paycheck for photographing his alter ego-and giving Jameson fuel for his crusade against the web-slinger. Each cover is printed on newsprint and measures 10.5" x 14", mounted in red matting and housed in a black frame measuring 19.5" x 16". Items are unexamined out of frame. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
