Description
The Passion of the Christ (Newmarket Films, 2004), "Christ Image" Hijab/Shroud of Turin. Original production made Hijab/Shroud of Turin made from rectangular cream-colored linen cloth with ornamental stitching on each side. Worn by spectator in the streets, "Veronica" (Sabrina Impacciatore), who empathizes with "Christ" (Jim Caviezel) and hands him her Hijab to pat his face, thus leaving a facial imprint in blood. The cloth measures 52" x 17.5", and exhibits age, wrinkling and production handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
