The Nightmare Before Christmas (Touchstone/Walt Disney, 1993), Jack Skellington Hero Head Master Mold. Original resin master mold measuring 4.5" x 3.5" x 3" and featuring 5-holes across the surface to allow silicone mixtures to be poured into the casting. As part of the production process, the mold has been split into 2-separate components. Top of mold is imprinted "5-C" with the bottom featuring a "5-B" imprint. Interior of mold contains 2- light blue silicone trays with the front and back components of Jack's head which measures 1.5" in diameter. This silicone tray was used to make the final foam latex puppetry head used in the film. Crafted at Tim Burton and Henry Selick's Skellington Productions, this mold was used to bring to life the wonder-filled "Pumpkin King" of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington, expertly adapting Burton's unique illustration style. Displays general production handling and wear with remnants of the casting process throughout. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
