The Nightmare Before Christmas (Touchstone/Walt Disney, 1993), Jack Skellington and Sally Crew Gift Concept Maquettes. Original pair of conceptual maquettes constructed of foam, wood, and cast resin, designed as gifts for the crew of the 1993 stop-motion classic. Each maquette bust has been expertly crafted directly from the original Jack Skellington and Sally puppet molds, painted in grey and black tones to appear as stone, and are displayed on custom tombstone bases inscribed with the character's names. Jack measures 4" x 7.25" and features a foam tombstone base with wooden dowel rod to hold up the resin bust. Sally measures 4" x 7.5" constructed completely out of resin and featuring a separate molded hair piece. Pieces display general production and handling wear with light scuffing to the painted elements. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
