Jumanji (TriStar Pictures, 1995), Jonathan Hyde "Van Pelt" USAS-12 Prop Shotgun with Hero Illuminating Scope and Silencer. Original non-firing prop Daewoo USAS-12 shotgun measuring 41" x 14" x 7.5" constructed of high-resolution fiberglass retaining original factory engravings from casting on both sides of the lower receiver, 20-round drum magazine, expertly studio crafted and painted to resemble the real-life counterpart. Attached to the carry handle is a metal faux B.E. Meyers night vision scope with internal electronics for on-screen illumination and power switch on the left side of the scope body. In addition, a machined aluminum silencer is affixed to the end of the barrel. This imposing weapon was used in sequences when the live-fire shotgun was unavailable or when a lighter prop weapon was desired. Both the night vision scope and silencer were used in every scene featuring the USAS shotgun, both the firing and non-firing versions (production would swap them back and forth as needed). This prop was wielded by the nefarious big-game hunter, Van Pelt (Jonathan Hyde) once he finds himself in 1995 New Hampshire. Displays general production age and handling wear with light scuffing to the paint and minor material loss near the base of the suppressor. Electronics untested.
