Lightning Rifle Hero Prop from The Matrix (Warner Bros., 1999). Original hero futuristic rifle prop constructed of cast resin, vacuum formed plastic, metal and mixed media components. Expertly studio assembled, painted, theatrically distressed, and finished to appear as a well-worn piece of Sci-fi weapons technology. The elaborate weapon features taped grip, a halo of ampules around the stock, cables, wires and conduit, a monitor affixed to the upper grip, vented barrel guard and working trigger. There is a battery pack present forward of the trigger guard and an activating button aft of trigger. Measuring 29.5" x 10" x 14." Electronics are present but untested. Accompanied by a beige web carrying strap and a production made metal display stand. Exhibiting production wear and handling. In Very Good condition. Includes a Joel Silver signed LOA dated April 20, 2022. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
