Description

Rolling Stones Aftermath Decca Promotional Poster (UK, circa April, 1966). 11" x 17". A rare Decca promo poster for the Stone's fourth studio album released in April, 1966. The album is significant not only for classic tunes like "Mothers Little Helper", "Lady Jane", "Under My Thumb" and "Out of Time", but it marks the first album with compositions written entirely by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The poster features a psychedelic image of the band in "triplicate" and the caption "Aftermath the new Rolling Stones ellpee 14 new songs". Cursory research failed to locate another sales record for this example. With a smoothed central and vertical fold, thumb tack holes in each corner, and some slight toning to the paper, in Very Good condition.
