Description

Big Brother and the Holding Company/ Bronze Hog Santa Rosa Concert Poster (Golden Star, 1968). Janis Joplin and her band Big Brother and the Holding Company's classic breakthrough album Cheap Thrills had been released only a couple of months before this May 11, 1968, show at the Santa Rosa Vets building. This colorful poster is one we don't see too often; it had only one printing. It measures 14" x 21.5", and is in Very Good Plus condition with a few tack holes in the corners, with tiny spots of color loss, and "Only Printing" noted on the verso.
