Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (TCF, 1983), Drinking Bowl from Jabba the Hutt's Throne Room. Original drinking bowl prop from Jabba's the Hutt's Throne Room on Tatooine. This production-made vessel can be seen in on-set photos sat atop a slot machine to one side of Jabba's throne, though it is not visible in the final theatrical release of the 1983 blockbuster. Measuring 2.5" x 7" x 4.25" and constructed from fiberglass with carved effect, with geometric design to the front and one handle to the side. Finished in copper/verdigris-color and a layer of varnish. Jabba's Palace was a hotbed of both frivolity and gruesome entertainment, frequented by a variety of species from across the Outer Rim and beyond. The two Rodians seen in the on-set photos (the same species as bounty hunter Greedo) are named in Star Wars Legends as Beedo and Revidjasa, and were among the many attendees before the unannounced arrival of Luke Skywalker and the mission to recover Han Solo. Exhibits light production wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
