Janis Joplin Original Black And White Photo Signed and Stamped by Bob Seidemann (1967). Janis rose to prominence after her appearance at the Monterey Pop festival. She was the lead singer of the San Francisco psychedelic band Big Brother and the Holding company. After two albums she left to pursue a solo career.
From Port Arthur, Texas, she rocketed across the musical landscape and burned out too soon. This beautiful image was taken by Bob Seidemann in 1967. Measuring approx: 16" by 20" and is hand signed by Bob Seidemann. His famous stamp is on the verso.

In overall Fine to Very Fine condition with bending, marks, minor staining and tape remnants on the verso. This will mat and frame up beautifully. Originally from the Santa Monica Museum of Rock Art. COA from Heritage Auctions.
