Description

Don Cheadle "James Rhodes" Hero Iron Patriot Helmet from Iron Man 3 (Marvel, 2013). Original superhero helmet constructed of cast fiberglass panels expertly assembled and painted in red, blue, pewter and platinum automotive paint with open slits for eyes and opaque, red-rimmed lenses inset above. The helmet is constructed in 2-pieces, with detachable rear section secured with strong industrial magnets. Foam padding panels are mounted on the interior of the helmet for comfort of wearer and the interior also retains wiring for a 9v battery, which would be used to illuminate the lenses in the eye ports. The paint is very lightly studio distressed to appear used and mildly antiqued to enhance some surface detail. This instantly recognizable helmet is a principal component of "Rhodey's" (Cheadle) high-tech armor and measures 11.5" x 9" x 7.5". Exhibits minor production use. In Fine to Very Fine condition.
