Jimi Hendrix Signed Rolling Stone Volume One, Number Seven (1968). The March 9, 1968 issue of the long-running music publication featuring a soulful closeup of Hendrix onstage, autographed " To Lee / Stay Groovy / Jimi Hendrix" by the guitar master in black ballpoint ink. Matted in a purple display to an overall 15.25" x 22.5" (paper measures approximately 11.5" x 16.75"). In Very Good Plus condition, with moderate toning to the newsprint, and some fold/edge wear, though the signature is clear and bright. COA from Heritage Auctions.

A perfect example of the early era of Rolling Stone, aside from the feature on Hendrix, the paper includes pieces on the Beatles, Ravi Shankar, Charlatans, and bluesman Albert King, as well as record reviews of releases by the Kinks, Leonard Cohen, Electric Prunes and others.
