Description

The Beatles, Please Please Me Stereo Vinyl LP With Black and Gold Labels and Dick James Publishing Credits (Parlophone, PCS 3402). Vintage original copy of the short-lived pressing of the Beatles' debut LP - in stereo - in the UK, with sharp black and gold labels and credits for Dick James Mus. Co. on numerous tunes. Housed in a flipback sleeve, the 14 cuts on this became a line of demarcation in pop culture. Inspired by R&B, country, rockabilly, rock n' roll, and the blues of yesteryear, the band brought a sense of melody that drove people crazy. Beatlemania would sweep the world in 1964, but it had started years before. The iconic photo of the Fabs by Angus McBean adorns the cover, and his photo credit is on the far right bottom corner.

The sleeve is in VG-EX 6.5 condition (due to creasing in various spots, along with toning in spots and some soiling along the bottom edge) and the disc is in VG-EX 6.5 condition (due to several light scratches on both sides). Comes with COA from Heritage Auctions.
